NASA Scientist Predicts California Water Will Last One More Year

~What is worse than bad news?  Dire news.  An official with NASA has some dire news for California — we have just one year of water left.
Jay Famiglietti, is a senior water scientist at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena … he says his data shows water storage in the Sacramento and San Joaquin river basins will be gone in a year. If that's is not depressing enough, he goes on to say that our backup supply, of groundwater, will also be gone soon … Famiglietti says the time has come for California to start mandatory water rationing and the state also needs to speed up a groundwater sustainability plan.
