~Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke to the press today, answering the question why she had mixed private emails with her Secretary of State email.
Clinton said "I opted for convenience, I thought it would be easier to carry one device for my work and emails. It was allowed and a convenience."
There were 60,000 emails in total – half were worked related and went to the state department, half were personal.
Clinton said federal guidelines were clear and the State Department request was clear, it was up to the employee to determine what was work and personal.
Even thought Clinton knew the state department already had all of them, she said she took the unprecedented step to make all her work emails public for everyone to see.
