Bill Would Send Every CA Voter a Vote-by-Mail Ballot

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — California Senator Bob Hertzberg has introduced legislation, which would send every registered voter a mail-in ballot.

The Van Nuys Democrat says voter participation needs to improve, as our democracy is at risk.

If the bill were to be signed, you would still be able to vote in person at a designated polling location.

Voter turnout dropped to a record low last November, with turnout at just 42%.
