FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The California High-Speed Rail project will not only impact valley farms, businesses, and housing, but it could harm the protected kit fox.
That’s according to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, who says the Rail Authority is out of compliance with environmental commitments.
The San Joaquin kit fox has been on the endangered pecies list since 1967.
