KIMBERLY BIRD – RIGHT – IS ACCUSED OF BEING THE WOMAN SEEN IN THE SURVEILLANCE FOOTAGE ON THE LEFT
STOCKTON (KMJ/CBS 13 SACRAMENTO) — A 27 year old woman has been identified in connection with a number of package thefts.
Recently delivered items have been taken from outside homes in Stockton – and surveillance footage of one of the thefts shows a woman taking them. investigators believe that woman is Kimberly Bird.
The video shows her getting out of a white pick up truck – but little is known about the driver.
According to police, a couple of other residents on Winding River Circle have reported package thefts as well.
In one incident, the suspects appear to have seen a US Mail carrier deliver a package to a home, because police say the suspects drove by the carrier then came back six minutes late to grab the box.
