CHP Will Hold DUI Checkpoint in Fresno County this Weekend

The CHP will be conducting a DUI checkpoint somewhere in Fresno County this Saturday night.

FRESNO (KMJ) – The Fresno area California Highway Patrol will be conducting a DUI checkpoint somewhere in Fresno County this Saturday night between the hours of 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.
Officers will be looking for signs of alcohol and or drug impairment and also checking drivers for valid licenses.
Folks caught driving impaired can expect the impact of a DUI arrest to include jail time, fines, fees, DUI classes, and other expenses that can exceed $10,000.
Funding for the checkpoint is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
