Armed Domestic Violence Suspect Arrested in Southeast Fresno

 

 

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Police in Southeast Fresno arrest an armed domestic violence suspect.

Around 1:00 Monday afternoon, officers searched a residence on the 2400 block of South Meridian Ave.

They got a tip that 30-year-old Jeremy Johnson, a felon, was there and had a gun.

Police searched Johnson’s bedroom and a .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun was located.

The firearm’s serial number was obliterated.

Johnson said the firearm belonged to his father.

When asked about the serial number being obliterated, Johnson said he had no idea how that happened.

Johnson was booked into the Fresno County Jail for domestic violence, criminal threats, false imprisonment, and assault and for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
