Alleged Bank Robber Captured in Southwest Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The suspect in Wednesday’s robbery at the Bank of the West Branch in downtown Fresno is now behind bars.

50-year-old Angel Sanchez is accused of passing a note to a teller, demanding money; he claimed he was armed.

Sanchez made off with cash.

Thursday, he was busted in southwest Fresno, and taken into custody without incident.
