Family Hopes Stolen Christmas Tree Lane Figures Are Returned

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – A Fresno family is hoping that their handmade Christmas figures are returned.

Homeowner Dan Gallager says he spent months making the wooden figures of Rudolph and Hermey the Misfit Elf that normally decorate the lawn outside of his home during the annual Christmas Tree Lane.

Now, he and wife, Patricia are asking for the community’s help to recover the holiday decorations that were stolen from their home on Van Ness.

The handmade Hermey statue and a light-up figure of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer were taken from the home Friday night.

Gallagher said it took months to built the elf statue himself, and he hopes that it was perhaps just maybe a high school prank, which he admitted would be a good one.

The Gallagers just hope that the statues will be returned in time for the Christmas Tree Lane walk night on Tuesday December 11th.
