FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide after a body of a woman is discovered.
On Tuesday, the dead woman was found inside a home Porterville, near East Date Avenue and Ruth Street.
Violent Crimes Detectives went inside the home and started their investigation.
When they arrived, a man ran away from the scene. The suspect, Victor Lopez, was found and detained a short distance away and arrested. He faces charges of Domestic Violence, Murder and Child Endangerment. The relationship between the victim and Lopez is still under investigation.
