Charges Filed in Tower District Tattoo Shop Murders

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Charges have just been filed against the man accused in the Tower District tattoo shop murders.

The Fresno County DA’s Office says 27-year-old Cruz Hinojosa has been charged for the Saturday night killings — which claimed the lives of Pisa Xayapheth and Jesse Hernandez — as well as the attempted murder of Kristina Widener.

If convicted, Hinojosa faces a sentence of up to life in prison.

He’s scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Fresno County Superior Court.
