PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KFSN) — The Porterville Police Department and Tulare County Sheriff’s Office ended their search for a suspicious armed man after they received a report of someone walking around with a gun.
Authorities searched for the reported person near Highway 190 and Martin Street Thursday morning.
Porterville police say that despite their efforts, authorities were unable to locate the person matching the description provided.
Schools in the area were placed on lockdown as a safety precaution during their search.
