FRESNO, CA (KMJ) An 18-year-old woman has been found guilty of first-degree murder in the killing of Clovis teen Caleb Quick.
A judge ruled Monday that Cassandra Michael aided and abetted the alleged gunman who shot Quick outside a Clovis McDonald’s in April of 2025 by serving as a getaway driver.

Prosecutors argued the killing was motivated by a rape accusation involving Quick and a friend of the female suspect.
The week-long juvenile court hearing included testimony from detectives, family members of the suspected shooter, and a young woman who claimed Quick sexually assaulted her.
Michael returns to court August 31st. The alleged gunman’s transfer hearing begins September 1st.
