(KMJ) – Fresno Unified’s Parent University will give new backpacks and school supplies to students on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Family Back-to-School celebration will welcome families into the new school year by providing support and essential resources, including free backpacks, school supplies, haircuts and immunizations to help every student start the year strong.
When: Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026
8 a.m.-11 a.m.

Families can also enjoy a special movie screening of Toy Story 5. Supplies and movie passes are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
