FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN/KMJ) — As the heat continues, Fresno’s zoo is shortening its hours throughout the summer months.
Starting August 3, the Fresno Chaffee Zoo is changing its hours to 9 am to 2 pm, shortening the day by two hours.
The zoo says the new hours are to provide the best possible guest experience while prioritizing the safety and well-being of animals, staff and guests.
The adjusted hours will end on October 1 and return to 9 am to 4 pm.
