FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — A woman has been hospitalized following a crash that officials say started a grass fire in Fresno County.
The crash happened on Millerton Road just after 7 am Tuesday.
The California Highway Patrol says the Tesla crashed and started a fire on the side of the road.
The driver suffered major injuries with burns and was rushed to the hospital.
A large plume of smoke could be seen in the air.
Drivers in the area were told to slow down and take caution when going through while the cleanup continued.
