TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — One person and an animal are dead following a house fire in Springville on Monday.
It was first reported after 5:30 am at a home on Avenue 176 and Campbell Creek Drive.
Fire crews arrived to find the home engulfed in flames.
Officials and neighbors say at least one person lived in the home.
Crews initially said two people were dead, but later said one of the remains was actually an animal.
Officials have not released the identity of the person killed.
