(KMJ Sports) When Josh Hokit steps into the octagon on the South Lawn of the White House June 14, he’ll do so without famed trainer Greg Jackson in his corner.
The co-founder of the world-renowned Jackson-Wink MMA Academy is skipping the UFC’s Freedom Fights 250, citing off‑the‑record personal reasons.
Hokit was a star wrestler and fullback at Fresno State before getting into the fight game.
He’s unbeaten in the heavyweight division at 9‑and‑0 and gained national attention last month with a Fight of the Night win over Curtis Blaydes.
He’s now ranked fifth and will face Derrick Lewis.
