FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) — Firefighters are battling two separate fires in Fresno County, including one that officials say could grow in size.
The larger blaze, known as the Pin Fire, has burned about 10 acres near Millerton and Friant roads, just east of the Pincushion area, a popular hiking trail, officials said.
CAL FIRE firefighters say the fire could spread to 20 acres.
A second, smaller vegetation fire is burning near Friant and Shepherd roads. That blaze is being handled by Fresno fire crews.
