PARLIER, Calif. (KFSN/KMJ) — A 15-year-old Parlier boy is dead after being hit by a vehicle near Mendocino and Parlier Avenues Tuesday evening.
Police say calls came in just before 6PM, and officers arrived to find the teen — identified as 15-year-old Juliani Moreno — deceased at the scene.
Exclusive video obtained by our news partners at ABC30 shows what appears to be the suspect’s blue car speeding north on Mendocino before crashing into Francy’s Bridal Flower Shop.
The unidentified driver was arrested.
Parlier Mayor Alma Beltran released a statement offering condolences to the victim’s family, saying the entire community is mourning alongside them.
“The City of Parlier stands with the Quiroz family during this incredibly difficult time as they grieve the heartbreaking loss of their loved one. Our entire community mourns alongside them, and our thoughts and prayers are with the family as they navigate this profound tragedy,” Beltran posted.
