FRESNO (KMJ) — A gang member has led police on a pursuit in northeast Fresno.
It happened just before 6pm Monday night, when officers saw a white Honda Civic run a red light at Millbrook and Clinton.
When they tried to pull over the car, the driver – 22-year old Aaron Garnica – took off.
Garnica abandoned the car near union and Rowell Street and fled into a nearby backyard.
Officers established a perimeter around the backyard, and eventually caught up with Garnica. He’s now in Fresno County Jail for felony evading, traffic violations, resisting arrest, and parole violation.
