FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The man struck and killed by a car Sunday evening in northeast Fresno has been identified as James Harvey.
Police the 48 year old Fresno resident was hit around 6 pm near Bullard and First. Investigators believe he was homeless.
The driver of the car remained at the scene as officers arrived. Officers do not believe drugs or alcohol are factors in the crash.
“We do believe that the pedestrian is at fault from what the preliminary investigation is showing us,” says Fresno Police Lt. Henry Garcia.
