PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KFSN) — A young Porterville man is federally charged with crimes allegedly connected to an Extremist Group that targets teens.
WARNING: The details below may be disturbing to some viewers.
The Department of Justice announced Monday that 19-year-old Tony Long is accused of animal crushing, sexual exploitation of a minor, cyberstalking and making threats against a minor.
The indictment alleges that the incidents happened in late 2024 towards teens in Washington State and Kern County.
Court documents claim Long is a member of “764.”
The FBI says the network is made up of violent predators who befriend teenagers through popular online platforms and then coerce them into escalating sexual and violent behavior.
“The FBI has no tolerance for anyone who preys on children or other vulnerable members of society,” said FBI Director Kash Patel.
Their victims are told to create graphic pornography, harm family pets, cut themselves with sharp objects or even die by suicide.
If Long is convicted on all counts he faces, his sentence could reach upwards of 84 years in prison, along with millions in fines.
