FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — The Fresno State Bulldogs are fired up for Homecoming Week.
This year’s theme is “Can’t Hide that Bulldog Pride.”
Fresno State is going with ‘old school cool’ on the field.
The team posted a video featuring helmets with a throwback logo that players will be wearing for Saturday’s homecoming game, along with black uniforms.
Fans shared plenty of fire emojis in response.
Activities are planned throughout the week leading up to the game, encouraging Bulldog bonding.
“We know that students that find connection on campus and really make the most of their time here at Fresno State tend to do better,” says Associate Dean of Student Involvement, Amy Allen. “They have higher GPAs, graduate at a higher rate and so making them feel that connection and that pride in being a Bulldog is really important.”
Monday’s kick-off event was full of student smiles and pictures with mascot Victor E Bulldog.
