FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — The teenager who was hit and killed by a car while on a bicycle in central Fresno has been identified as 15-year-old Nathan Torres.
Police say the crash happened on Angus Street and Olive Avenue around 6 pm Monday.
Investigators believe Torres was riding his bike in the road when he was hit by an oncoming car.
He was taken to the hospital, where he died.
The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and is cooperating with police.
Drugs and alcohol don’t appear to be a factor in the crash.
