FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) –KMJ’S News Partner ABC 30 Action News has confirmed with Starbucks employees that four Fresno locations are closing for good on Saturday.
ABC 30 was told workers received the news on Thursday, the same day the coffee chain announced a major round of closures and job cuts under a $1 billion restructuring plan.
The following locations are closing:
- Peach and Olive avenues
- Ashlan and West avenues
- Blackstone and Herndon avenues
- Blackstone and Barstow avenues
The official list of closing locations is expected to be released on Sunday.
The store closures will amount to a roughly 1% decline in the total number of Starbucks locations in North America in this fiscal year, after accounting for some store openings.
