The US government announced Thursday that it’s suing Southern California Edison for negligence for allegedly sparking a pair of deadly So Cal wildfires.
The Eaton and Fairview fires burned tens of thousands of acres and killed 21. The lawsuit is seeking more than $40 million in damages.
The actual cause of those fires is still officially under investigation.
