HANFORD, CALIF. (KMJ) 59 year old Gary Canalez is behind bars, facing a long list of charges after being linked to taking illegal videos inside a restroom.
Kings County Sheriffs investigators say a family member of one of the victims found a cell phone hidden behind a toilet which was set to record.
The suspect was living with an elderly couple at the time of his arrest. The reporting party looked through the video’s on the cell phone and found Canalez had recorded the couple and others, including a minor.
Canalez was booked into the Kings County Jail on multiple charges including having possession of child pornography, elder abuse, and invasion of privacy. Canalez’s bail was set at $95,000.00.
