(KMJ) – Wednesday night, the Fresno Unified Board of Trustees voted unanimously to censure board member Terry Slatic.
The vote comes in the wake of backlash against the trustee for several alleged cases of misconduct. Those include Slatic allegedly threatening a group of Bullard High cheerleaders over a recent “blackface” video incident.
Under the censure, Slatic cannot participate in certain committees unless he completes an anger management course.
In response, Terry Slatic says he’s not surprised by this action. And he and his legal team is now preparing a challenge to the Board’s action.
