FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Merced County Sheriff’s Deputies are reviewing security camera footage hoping for clues after two men die in a gang-related triple shooting in Planada.
It happened around 8:00pm Thursday night by the intersection of Highway 140 and Plainsburg Road.
Merced County Sheriff’s Deputy Darrell Allen says three men were shot, 22-year-old Diego Gallardo was already dead when they arrived. 27-year-old Pedro Lua died while being treated.
Deputy Allen says the only survivor of the three is in critical condition.
They’re now looking at the footage from El Campo Market’s security camera, and looking for any witnesses who were there at the time.
