FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Thanks to the recent storms, groundwater managers say California’s underground aquifers have begun to recharge.
Many basins have filled up significantly; that’ll seep into the soil and help the severely low aquifers levels recover.
Eventually, more water will be available for drinking and agriculture, and the risk for floods will be reduced.
