FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — According to researchers at the University of Vermont, eating hot red chili peppers on a regular basis, may reduce total mortality by 13 percent.
A recent study finds the peppers can lower your risk for strokes and heart attacks.
It involved 16,000 Americans, over a 23-year period.
