SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (AP) – Police say an SUV carrying a group of young people to prom collided with a car, injuring 10 people.
The California Highway Patrol says the SUV was on its way to the Morro Bay High School prom Saturday night when it made an unsafe turn and hit a car. The SUV ran into the embankment and overturned. Nine people in the SUV and one person in the car were hurt.
The San Luis Obispo Tribune reports alcohol was not thought to be involved. No arrests have been made.
