~Emily Krieghoff was the only one to survive in the car driven by her best friend, Molly Griffin, after it was hit by a suspected drunk driver, two weekends ago (2/21/2015).
Today, the 23-year-old is finally out of the Intensive Care Unit at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno (3/2/2015).
Her aunt, Mary Beth Blasco, has been in town from Southern California, sitting at her niece's bedside.
She has a message of thanks to all the caregivers: "The first responders, the hospital, the trauma, the surgeons, without their expertise we would not have Emily with us today, and that is the truth."
Emily's aunt, Mary Beth Blasco, asks that people pray for her niece.
Blasco's other message – Please don't ever drive drunk.
Blasco has also set up a fund for Emily's mounting medical bills.

From Youcaring.com website: "On February 21, 2015 Emily was critically injured in a fatal car accident that also killed her best friend, Molly Griffin. While she is now stable, there is a lot of progress to be made. Her recovery will be long and difficult, but we know that the love of her friends and family will pull her through. Every day Emily gets better and we know that God is watching over her. Funds are being raised to assist Emily in covering expenses during her recovery. You can get medical updates at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/emilykrieghoff. Please continue to pray that she will make a quick and complete recovery. The Krieghoff's appreciate all your support!
