FRESNO (KMJ) — All budding valley film-makers take note – there's a film festival coming to town.
Organizers of 'The Germ' film festival want everybody to create a film – with a 'germ' of an idea as a starting point.
It's open to all ages and all experience levels.
The event was created by Fresno based Windsong Productions.
"We give out inspirations for local filmmakers to go out and make movies. This time all films have to be love stories – and they have to be five minutes or less", says event coordinator Hayley White.
"We have people submit their films to us – and we have a big screening party that's free to the public – and people can come watch the films".
The goal is to encourage new film-makers and get the valley's creative community going.
