A study says two California coastal cities are at greater risk from tsunamis than previously thought. The American Geophysical Union says Ventura and Oxnard could be hit with a wave 23 feet high if a major earthquake hits in the Santa Barbara Channel. A computer simulation suggests that a wave caused by an undersea quake would split, turn and move perhaps more than a mile inland.
