The possible overdose death of a teenage girl is being investigated by Fresno Police.
15 year old Houa Hue attended a local rave, Saturday night.
An anonymous source, emailed KMJ News alleging that police did not do enough to stop the death of the girl — who may have overdosed on ecstasy.
Fresno Police Spokesperson Joe Gomez says there are inconsistencies in the case.
Se actually died in a car outside the apartment of an older man who gave her a ride from the rave.
“An older male slept in the front seat – the female slept in the back seat, when he woke up around 6:00am, he believed she was deceased. when we arrived there she was in fact deceased.”
Lt Gomez says police need more answers.
“We don’t know the drugs that were taken, we don’t know if those were taken prior to her entering the concert, during the concert or after she left the concert.”
Lt. Gomez says there was nothing suspicious about the man – that he was not involved in her death.
The source blames police for the overdose – but Lieutenant Gomez says that pills are very easy to hide, and ecstasy is a common drug at raves.
Lt. Gomez says they are waiting on the autopsy for more answers, and are looking at videotape, and interviewing more people.
