Fresno (KMJ) An officer-involved shooting is under investigation east of Clovis, and both suspects are in custody.
Investigators say around 4:30am Monday, a CHP officer pulled over a stolen pickup truck near E. Shaw and N. Zediker Ave.
According to the Fresno Co. Sheriffs Department, at one point during the stop, the officer feared for his life and fired several rounds.
One suspect, 40 year old Pasquale Desantis, was arrested at the scene.
He is currently hospitalized at CRMC with unknown injuries.
The officer was not hurt.
A second suspect, identified as 19 year old Levi Young, fled the scene. A citizen recognized his picture that had been released in the Fresno media and called the authorities. Young was arrested around 11am near Ashlan and Zediker.
