FRESNO (KMJ) — They said it couldn’t be done – but Fresno State are proving the nay-sayers wrong with a football ticket flash sale.
The sale will be on for just under two hours today – and for those who might have been avoiding seeing the local team at Bulldog Stadium because of the price of entry – it brings with it a pretty hefty discount.
“We really figured if we do the right thing at the right time at the right price point we can sell football tickets between the month of March and September, where a lot of people said you couldn’t sell a football ticket in Fresno in that period of time”, said Fresno State athletics Paul Ladwig.
He says they’re doing it to so folks can come out to the game without it costing them too much. but it’s only going to be on for 112 minutes. “That’s because we’re 112 days out from the 2015 season opener”.
The flash sale tickets include four tickets in the BDF bench areas (sections 7, 15, 28 and 34) and one parking pass to the game. It’ll cost $99 and officials say all ticketing fees will be waived as a part of the sale.
The flash sale for the season opening game on september 3rd – starts at midday today (that’s Thursday May 14th – at 12 noon) and will be on until 1.52pm – 112 minutes later.
