Uncle Sam meets DirecTV in Court

Do you have a contract with DirecTV the California-based satellite provider?  The government is channeling it's concern and taking DirecTV to court … the satellite proveder is being accused of shady dealings in the manner it misleads millions of consumers about the true cost buying it's service. The Government says DirecTV Inc. has been deceptively advertising a discounted 12-month programming package. The government case alleges DirecTV customers were not made aware that the 12-month package requires a two-year contract.
