FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Here in California, auto insurance premiums rise by an average of 75%, after only one claim. That’s according to a new report by Insurance Quotes.com, which finds that we have the second-largest increases in the nation.
If having one claim isn’t bad enough, try having two claims; that could hike your premium by 139%.
However, different insurance companies tend to treat previous claims differently. So, shopping around could pay off.
