(KMJ) Tulare County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating after a man’s body was found in a canal north of Orosi.
Deputies were called around 10:30 Sunday morning to the Friant-Kern Canal near Avenue 444 and Road 128, after a body was reported in the water.
When deputies arrived, they found an adult man dead in the canal. Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation and are working to determine how the man died.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.
