PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KFSN) — A man is in the hospital after a shooting in Tulare County Friday morning.
It happened before 8 am on Road 256 near Teapot Dome Avenue in Porterville.
Deputies arrived and found a 47-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his back.
He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
The shooting happened just a few miles away from a shooting that killed two people earlier Friday morning.
Deputies are still investigating if the incidents are connected.
