FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — Two people were injured in a shooting at a party in Merced County Saturday night, according to the Merced County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded shortly before 10:30 p.m. to a house on Oak Street and Hinton Avenue after receiving reports of a shooting, this is just south of the town of Delhi.
When deputies arrived, they found the two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Authorities say the victims are an 18-year-old man and a 21-year-old man.
Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. One of the victims is currently in critical condition, though authorities have not made clear if it’s the 18 or 21-year-old.
The Merced County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who witnessed the shooting, has information about the incident, or has video related to it to contact the sheriff’s office by phone or text.
No additional information about a suspect or possible motive was provided.
