FRESNO (KFSN) — A suspect has turned himself in following the shooting death late Thursday of 25-year-old Muhammad Mutaraam-Conley outside a liquor store.
Fresno police say 20-year-old Sakilian Drum went to the Fresno County Jail on Sunday. He was arrested and booked for assault with a deadly weapon.
Police are still searching for a second suspect, identified as 26-year-old Malik Upshaw. He is wanted for murder.
On Thursday night, Mutaraam-Conley was shot outside Bulldog Liquor on Shaw Avenue and Fresno Street.
Investigators believe an argument may have led to the shooting.
