OAKHURST, Calif. (KFSN) — A bear sighting put a high school in Oakhurst under a brief lockdown on Friday.
Yosemite High School parents were sent an alert around 9 am about the bear being seen on campus.
Students were held on buses or redirected away from campus as law enforcement and animal control worked to remove the bear.
No one was injured, and students have returned to campus.
