MERCED COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — Families in Merced County can now apply for Operation Christmas Star, a holiday gift-giving program that helps provide presents for local children during the holiday season.
The annual program partners with local first responders to provide gifts for thousands of children, helping make the season brighter for families throughout the county.
Applications are available now for those interested in participating. Completed applications must be filled out and dropped off at the Merced County Sheriff’s Office lobby on 22nd Street between M and O streets in Merced.
The application deadline is Dec. 1.
