The ICE agent accused of drunkenly attacking a 72-year-old Fresno man and his daughter is now out of custody.
32-year-old David Gonzalez pleaded not guilty to several felony charges last week.
During the violent encounter in Fresno’s Tower District, Gonzalez was shot by the resident and appeared in court in a wheelchair.
Gonzalez posted bail late Tuesday afternoon, then was authorized to return to his home state of Texas.
He was also required to meet several pre-trial conditions.
Gonzalez’s next court date is scheduled for January, but he is not required to attend in person for that proceeding.
