FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — Central Valley law enforcement and Valley Children’s Hospital are offering a free electric bicycle safety training for kids on October 17 at Bullard High School.
Registration is now open, featuring hands-on instruction led by local law enforcement officials.
Two sessions are available: 9 to 11:30 a.m. or 12 to 2:30 p.m.
The training will include a safety presentation, tips for improving control and decision-making, and practice handling real-world situations.
The program will also cover state e-bike laws, rules of the road and common safety issues that law enforcement officers see firsthand.
Participants are required to bring their own e-bike and helmet. Kids must also be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
