FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — A woman has died in what police are calling a domestic violence incident in central Fresno late Wednesday night.
The victim has been identified as 34-year-old Tiffany Stewart.
Police were called to the area of Palm and Shields for a shooting around 11 pm.
Officers say she got into an argument with her partner, 29-year-old Jeffrey Randall.
Police say Randall shot Stewart as she tried to walk away from him.
Randall was arrested nearby and booked into the Fresno County Jail for murder.
